New Hampshire-based Märzen develops software for tactical military communications. Its flagship product, TDACS, is a routing engine that supports connectivity, interoperability and real-time analysis of the tactical data networks used by many U.S. government and NATO agencies. Needing to add a 3D depiction and analysis capability to TDACS, Märzen turned to STK Components, AGI’s lightweight, low-cost development libraries.
Märzen considered various commercial visualization options, but selected STK Components for its ease of use, ability to handle object mobility and associate analysis of those objects and airspace volume depiction. Also critical was the fact that STK Components is based on the .NET framework and thus supports the latest Microsoft development environment and Windows platforms.
