Spindle Inc. is a payment service provider (PSP) that aggregates card-based transactions for the payment industry. The company is now deploying a card swipe solution for mobile devices and ecommerce environments. Spindle currently has two production environments in the Amazon cloud, utilizing several web and database instances, security appliances and jump boxes. As a PSP, Spindle is unique in its industry in that it was seeking PCI Level One certification on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
