Background: Ivaco Rolling Mills 2004 lP a Heico company (IRM) is a steel making and rod rolling facility located in l’orignal, ontario on the banks of the ottawa River. Its quality steel rods are used in a wide variety of industrial and construction applications. High temperatures required both in the melt shop and rod mill operations make for extensive use of electricity and natural gas.
