Case Study for Constancia Project

The Constancia copper-molybdenum project is located in the Andes in south-eastern Peru and is positioned 4500m above sea level. Ausenco is providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management services to design, construct, and commission a 28 Mt/y concentrator and associated infrastructure for this high-altitude project. In addition we are providing overall Construction Management services for the entire $1.5b project including services managed and designed by Hudbay and third parties. The project will incorporate primary crushing, twin SAG/Ball mill grinding circuit, regrind, flotation, concentrate filtration and tailings pumping capacity, as well as stand-alone molybdenum separation plant and various ancillary systems.
